What we do

Housing 21 is a major national provider of services for older people. We started life over 40 years ago as the Royal British Legion Housing Association and are a not for profit organisation with charitable status.

Our mission is to improve people's lives by promoting independence and choice for older people through good quality care, support and housing. To achieve this we work closely with partners in health, housing and social services, with the voluntary and private sectors and with older people themselves. We also aim to be an employer of choice for all existing and future employees. We employee over 2,500 people throughout England.
