Paying for your homes and services

Support charge

Finally, in addition to the rent and service charge you may be charged a support charge. This covers the cost of the housing related support that is provided to you by your court manager as well as the cost of your community alarm. You may be eligible to apply for a supporting people grant from the local authority to cover the cost of the support grant. Please contact your court manager or housing services manager for more details.
