Paying for your homes and services
Payment Methods
Standing Order
This means that you can choose what date your rent payment leaves your account. You will need to contact your bank each time the rent due changes. The details you need to give your bank will be provided to you on a standing form order which you will receive each year at the time of the annual rent and service charge change.

Where to make payments
You can make payments at any location displaying the following logos:

- At any Post Office® in the United Kingdom
- At shops and garages displaying the PayPoint and PAYzone™ logos. You can pay at these outlets at a time to suit you, as many are open late, and on Sundays
- Via telephone - call 0370 770 0472 (calls are charged at national rate)
- Or you can pay online by clicking here to use www.allpayments.net. If you'd like to pay online, you'll need your payment card with you, as you'll need to enter your payment card number when you visit the allpayments.net site.
- Simply present your card to the retailer, with your cash or cheque (the Post Office® also accepts debit cards)
- Cheques should be made payable to Post Office Ltd, or to the retailer
- You will be given a receipt as proof of payment. Keep it safely in the wallet provided
- Please allow four working days for payment to reach your rent account
- A rent statement will be issued quarterly, so you can check all payments have been received
Cheques Postal Order
It is preferable to use one of the payment methods above however should you need to you can pay your rent by cheque / postal order. You should put your tenant reference and address on the back on the cheque. The cheque can then either be given to your Court Manager who will send this onto Head Office or it can be posted to the Head Office Address. Please make sure you have signed and dated your cheque or postal orders and note that we will not accept post-dated cheques.
