Welcome to Housing 21 Oldham
Housing 21 Oldham is proud to be part of the biggest sheltered housing Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project in the country and we are looking forward to working closely with our partners, Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council, Bullock Construction, Allied Irish Bank and, of course, with you, our tenants.
Housing 21 firmly believes that, together, we will change the face of sheltered housing in the borough, ensuring that all your homes meet modern, quality standards by the end of the refurbishment period.
The project is not just about bricks and mortar, though. It’s about improving the quality of life for older people in Oldham. Through our support services, we promote independence and choice. We encourage our tenants to get involved in their own community at whatever level they feel comfortable and we aim to provide opportunities for social activities for all.
At Housing 21, we take pride in building a good, friendly relationship with our tenants. We are always looking for ways to improve on the services we deliver and we welcome your comments.
Housing 21 Oldham
Housing 21 Oldham has entered into a thirty year contract with Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council. The Oldham team will work in partnership to provide housing management, maintenance and support services for the whole of the thirty years.
For the first five years, we will also be working alongside Bullock Construction who will carry out the improvement works to the sheltered schemes and bungalows. Housing 21 Oldham has a dedicated Temporary Move team based in the Oldham office. The team is working to ensure that you move into a suitable property while the work is being carried out on your home. They will liaise with your GP and also make sure that any care provisions which you currently receive are in place at your temporary address.
